Our Emerging Artists program offers young artists aged 18–25 opportunities for professional and creative development.

A platform to grow

This program ensures that young artists have access to some of the best artistic training and mentorship opportunities in the country, can build their professional networks, and explore their artistic practice.

Industry focussed

We are committed to extending the support we offer young artists as they move towards professional practice by creating tangible pathways for them to participate in industry-focussed training and mentorship opportunities. 

Our Emerging Artists program is made possible thanks to the Jeremy Spencer Broom Legacy and Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres.

Canberra Youth Theatre acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the lands on which we collaborate, share stories and create art.
